About Us

About The Minnesota Rose Society (MRS)

The Minnesota Rose Society (MRS) was organized in 1939 to foster the hobby of growing roses in Minnesota and surrounding areas. We are affiliated with the American Rose Society, The University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the Minnesota State Horticultural Society.

We normally host five membership meeting per year, a rose show and help maintain the roses in the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum’s Wilson Rose Garden. ! We also help maintain the rose garden at Presbyterian Home’s Langdon Place in Roseville. If you want to learn about roses, we’ll help you learn.
